Alas, a true landrace has arrived to Foster Buds! Durban Poison is in the house! The visual characteristics reveal a dark circular *mound shaped* flower . The size of the poison nuggets are quite large, and it’s not just for show, as the density of the flower matches its larger appearance. The aroma from this African landrace creates a bold pepper infused taste upon the palate, it smells of fresh turmeric root.
I was drawn to Durban Poison because of the name. I had heard of it before, but honestly who really wants to smoke poison? I finally branched out and tried this delicious strain, and found the effects to be happily elevating. The mind dances with intuition, while the body becomes free to move. My mind became a live battery, in which I could see the energy that my thoughts carried. My body remained still, it was as if I was physically transfixed by the potency of this strain. As my mind saw the stillness in my body, I was warmed by a *sheading* sensation which awoke my body to dance with my mind. It was then when I realized the significance of the name.
Its our relation to *poison* that Durban Poison evicts from our subconscious. We take many known *poisons* (sugar, caffeine, nicotine – all of which I’ve consumed today), so do we really even know a true *poison* when we see one? Cannabis is continually being researched for all of its benefits. Its already been proven to slowly infect your body with THC , which allows for an enhanced sensitivity to physical stimulation. It also provides the venom of CBD, which allows for an increased awareness of your responses/ reactions and provides a calming peace to flood your system.
So ask yourself, do you really want to alter your mind + body? Are you poised to take your poison?
